VAYU Breath Controller – User Manual

Quick Start

Auto-Calibration: The sensor tares on power-up.

1. Plug in USB.

2. DO NOT blow into the mouthpiece.

3. Keep unit still for 2 seconds until "BASHWARE" clears.

Controls

• Menu Access: Click Middle button.

 Settings

1. MIDI CH & CC

• Middle: Toggle Channel (1-16) vs CC (0-127).

• Left/Right: Adjust value.

2. Curve (Response)

• Linear: Standard 1:1.

• Log/Log+: High sensitivity (Woodwinds).

• Inv/Inv+: Low sensitivity (Requires force).

3. Thresholds (Range)

• Lower (Deadzone): Increase if notes stick when not blowing.

• Upper (Max): Decrease to reach max volume with less breath.

• Middle: Toggle Lower/Upper adjustment.

4. Flash Firmware

• Enters update mode. Only use for upgrades.

Saving

Settings are NOT saved automatically.

• Save: Hold Middle (1s) until "SAVED!" appears.

• Back (No Save): Double-Click Middle.

Troubleshooting

• Drift? Replug USB without touching mouthpiece.

• Stuck Notes? Increase Lower Threshold.

• Too Hard? Decrease Upper Threshold or use Log curve.
